Effect of Video-Guided Educational Interventions on School Engagement for Adolescents with Hearing Impairments

As speech-language pathologists, we continuously strive to create the best outcomes for children, particularly those with special needs. A recent study titled "Effect of video-guided educational intervention on school engagement of adolescent students with hearing impairment" offers valuable insights that can be instrumental in enhancing school engagement among hearing-impaired students. This blog will explore the findings and implications of this study, offering practical recommendations for practitioners.

Understanding the Study

The study, conducted by Asogwa et al. (2020), utilized a randomized controlled trial design involving 46 junior secondary school students with hearing impairments. These students were divided into an intervention group and a control group.
